Busselton Health Survey data collected since 1966 is maintained on behalf of the Busselton Population Medical Research Institute (BPMRI) by the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Western Australia (UWA).

- Mandatory Prerequisites:
- The investigational layout must formally feature an integrated, active BPMRI-affiliated co-investigator.
- Signed conditions verifying that newly generated or derived calculations and data elements will be returned to the core UWA database repository upon project conclusion.
- Cost & Curation Framework: Fees comprise a two-tiered structure split between programming costs (extracted on full-cost recovery from UWA) and a foundational maintenance contribution paid directly to the institute.
